And welcome back to my Living Soical Blog everyone!
In case you do not remember my explanation from last week, the name with Social spelled correctly was taken, so I had to settle for the next best thing!
Anyway, this week is National Facebook Appreciation Week. Well, not officially. But I am trying to get it started. With your help and support we could see it double in size by next year! Before we do anything else, I want you to remember to go to you Facebook log in page, input your Facebook sign on, and head on over to Living Soical and like me! Because remember, I only have as much self worth as I have likes.
Next I want to introduce you to the NFBAW mascot. His name is Bookface. Well, yeah, he is only a bible with googly eyes glued to it. As this is only my second blog, the budget is a little lower than I would like. But be patient, because I am trying to get sponsors involved very soon. Fingers crossed!
Anyway, now that Bookface is here to help us celebrate, we have got to start our craftivity.
That is my new word, by the way. I am hoping to get a few catch phrases going. It is the portmanteau of craft and activity. What do you think?
Okay, first craftivity coming up. Everyone grab your tracing paper and your safety scissors. Now, you will need to print out a copy of this picture of the head of Mark Zuckerberg. The original Facebook face. And we are going to make our own Facebook faces! So trace over good Mr. Zuckerberg here, and then add what ever you want. Slap a handlebar mustache on him. Maybe some hipster glasses. Or a monocle. Or an eyepatch. Color in some of the teeth if you want, that is a classic.
The whole point is to make an army of Facebook faces that all kind of look like Mr. Z, but all look slightly off. So when we hold them up to our faces and take a picture, we can all be showing our support for him. Then I will post it on his wall. He will love it, trust me.
And once you are done, come on down to the Tea Room at seven tonight. Wear your best hipster garb and we can all get in on the picture. Ooooh, just the thought of posting this on his wall is getting me so anxious! I think Bookface is just as excited! Okay, I am going to go prepare the perfect outfit for tonight. Do not forget! Hipster clothes and Facebook face! See you then!
